Size
Door thickness is 1 1/2” or 2 “. 

Weight
A 3’ by 8’ door weighs between 275 and 325 pounds including the jamb member.  However, the weight may  differ based on various sizes and designs. 

Glass
The glass frame comes ready to accommodate all sizes of single paine glass up to 5/8” and insulated safety glass  up to 5/8” in thickness. 

Jamb Unit
Our jamb unit is constructed of 14 gauge steel which provides ample support of the door and allows ease of  installation. 

Hardware 
Our specifications for standard hardware are 2 1/8” to 2 3/4” lockset.  Custom hardware preparation must  be specified and approved by Accent prior to manufacturing. 

Energy Efficiency
The jamb and door frame members are injected with energy conserving foam to minimize transfer of heat and  cold and to provide noise reduction. 

Mortised Hinges
We utilize Hager® hinges in our manufacturing process which are truly mortised into the jamb and door slab.   This process is exclusive to Accent.  These uniquely mortised hinges provide a superior fit and finish of the  door leaf to joint tolerances resulting in a tighter door fit and better weather performance. 

Extrusion flush Bolts
Flush bolts are used in our double door units.  The flush bolt is the mechanism, which locks the inactive  door of the unit.  One flush bolt secures into the top of the door frame and the second into the threshold  or floor of the project providing a very secure locking system. 

Weather Stripping
Synthetic compression weather stripping is used for all perimeter and t-astrigal conditions for a weather tight seal. 

Glass Frame
The glass frame can be tailored to accept almost any glass thickness in accordance with building requirements  in your area. 

Optional Swing
Accent doors can be designed to swing in or out. 

Commercial Installations
In commercial applications check your local commercial codes for the proper swing and closing devices to be utilized.
